Fluoride

Updated: Nov 25, 2020

Most developed countries, including Japan and 97% of western Europe do not consume fluoridated water. Fluoridated water…

Is banned in China.

Is banned in Austria.

Is banned in Belgium, Finland, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Hungary.

Here’s why:

Fluoride is a toxic chemical. It is more poisonous than lead!

Study after study has shown many of the serious side effects from this toxic chemical.* It affects all aspects of health. Here a few just a few:

BONE HEALTH

First, it accumulates in the bones and the concentration increases over a lifetime**. This accumulation causes more bone breakage***, arthritis, and bone cancer. Children and babies excrete less from their bodies, absorbing up to 80% of ingested fluoride. So, they are at greater risk. http://www.cheeseslave.com/top-10-dangers-of-fluoride/

BRAIN HEALTH

Fluoride causes brain issues. It has always been known as a neural toxin but modern research has discovered that it also accumulates in the pineal gland. Fluoride is implicated in lowered IQ, Alzheimers, and ADD. From the Harvard School for Public Health. About 28 percent of the children in the low-fluoride area scored as bright, normal or higher intelligence compared to only 8 percent in the “high” fluoride area of Wamaio.

In the high-fluoride city, 15 percent had scores indicating mental retardation and only 6 percent in the low-fluoride city. The authors of the study eliminated both lead exposure and iodine deficiency as possible causes for the lowered IQs.

CANCER RATES

Fluoride Increased death risks from all sorts of cancers. A comparison study between 10 cities where it is in the drinking water and 10 cities where it is not showed clearly that cancer rates for all types are up in the fluoridated cities. ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH

Prior to 1945, fluoride was considered an environmental pollutant. It had a history of causing serious and deadly workplace poisoning since the late 1700’s. Fluoride leaking into waterways was the cause of destroyed crops and animals, leading to many lawsuits against companies producing large quantities of fluoride waste, like the aluminum and phosphate fertilizer industries. The view was that al1. Accumulation of Fluoride in the Body

KIDNEY HEALTH

Fluoride accumulates in the body. Healthy adult kidneys excrete 50 to 60% of the fluoride ingested each day (Marier & Rose 1971). Any remaining fluoride accumulates in the body, typically in the bones and pineal gland (Luke 1997, 2001). Babies and children excrete less fluoride from their kidneys and absorb up to 80% of ingested fluoride into their bones (Ekstrand 1994). The concentration of fluoride in the bones increases over a lifetime (NRC 2006).

BABY HEALTH

The American Dental Association (ADA), the biggest advocates of fluoridation, sent a November 6, 2006 email alert to its members advising that parents should make baby formula with “low or no-fluoride water.”

Bottle-fed babies receive the highest doses of fluoride. Since they have a liquid diet, formula-fed babies have the highest exposure to fluoride. Infant exposure to fluoridated water has been repeatedly found to be a major risk factor for developing dental fluorosis later in life (Marshall 2004; Hong 2006; Levy 2010). As a result, dental researchers have recommended that parents of newborns not use fluoridated water when reconstituting formula (Ekstrand 1996; Pendrys 1998; Fomon 2000; Brothwell 2003; Marshall 2004).

The Akron Regional Poison Center indicates that a 7-ounce tube of toothpaste contains 199 mg. of fluoride, more than enough to kill a 25-pound child.

Many Americans drink fluoridated water. If its not in your city water you get it in your toothpastes, in your mouthwash, at the dentists’ office and for good measure you can get a prescription for fluoride pills if you’re not sure you are getting enough!

If you are using fluoride products my best suggestion is to throw them away. Switch to a non-flouride toothpaste, and get a reverse osmosis water filter for your home.
